Lets be honest... no one is excited to shop for appliances. Especially when one breaks. When our dishwasher broke for thr 3rd time in 4 years, my wife and I had enough and we did some research online. We went to Wickford appliance because we prefer to shop local. Not only wete able to support local, they had the best price and best install cost around. The salesman was very knowledgeable, and honest. I hope I don't need another appliance soon....but if I do I will be going back to Wickford Appliance

We always receive excellent service from Wickford Appliance. Their prices are equal to or better than big box stores. The sales team is always available to speak to when you have questions. Delivery is always easy and efficient!! We’ve had so many issues in the past with big box stores especially with delivery. But never any problems with Wickford, which is why we will continue to purchase from them. Not to mention they provide service and everything is in house, not third party /contracted out. Thank you Wickford we love our new Samsung washer and dryer!

I find that wickford appliances is the best place to buy your appliances. They have their own service department and they'll match anybody else's prices model number to model number Good luck if you buy from the big box stores trying to get service

I can’t say enough good things about Wickford Appliances. I bought a washer and dryer from Mathew last year. Just like then, he was fantastic today. My freezer died last night- it was chuck full of food. Mathew took care of everything. He sent out an email to the other stores, looking for a freezer. The owner of Wickford Appliances even called Mathew, to see how he was doing! 2 hours later, I was home with my new freezer. I would never have gotten this kind of service from one of the Big Box stores. You have a lifetime customer- thank you Mathew, thank you Wickford Appliances!

I needed to replace my refrigerator quickly because of a sudden power surge and was also limited on which size would fit through my doorway. Rich at the Cranston location took the time to research which size would work best. He found one that was in stock. Delivery was within 4 days. The delivery guys were on time, courteous, professional and were very careful not to cause any damages. Brian the installer came in a few hours later to connect the water line. He was amazing! He explained everything he was doing and in addition took the time to answer all of my questions. In the past year I have bought from Wickford Appliance the following: stove, washing machine, dishwasher and the most recent refrigerator and will continue to buy my appliances there.

We buy many appliances at wickford. We’ve always had good luck with anything. We’ve bought there this right now is going to be an appointment for a repair on my washer. No weight they made the appointment the day that we were in the store and I will have my washer fixed on Wednesday

Rich was a godsend. He made a streessfull situation very easy. Prices for a 4 piece package came in for hundreds less than a comparable competitor. I highly recommend shopping at Wickford Appiance and will be telling family and friends to start here!

Installer was Very Nice and Clean… explaining everything he did and our sales person was great. You should have the person calling about delivery time use a company phone number. I don’t answer calls that say could be telemarketer. That’s the only thing I would ask you to change.She did leave a voicemail but know I’ve got to call her back..etc.. Thanks

I am a repeat customer and this time was there looking for a new stove. As was my previous experience, I received prompt and courteous service from a knowledgeable salesman. He answered my questions, efficiently scheduled delivery and processed my purchase. From start to finish, Wickford Appliance is always a pleasure to deal with, pricing is competitive with "big box" stores and they service what they sell.

I choose Wickford Apliance for the professionalism. I have purchased several appliances over the last twenty or so years from Wickford appliance. The staff is attentive and helpful without being pushy. My most recent purchase was a dishwasher. I had done my research online before going into the store so I had a good ides what I wanted. The sales associate Katie was attentive and easygoing while answering my questions and being efficient in her job. The sale was easy. I keep going back to Wickford for their staff. Beyond the sales staff, the delivery and repair techs are respectful of my property and work hard and diligently to make sure everything is in order before they leave. I’ve never had to call them back because something wasn’t completed or repair had failed. I have received good advice from them over the years as well. My old washing machine died at the height of covid so I had to purchase it online sight unseen except for online without going into the store. The machine I chose was HUGE!! But those delivery guys got that big monster in our back door and down the cellar stairs after removing the basement door (which is VERY heavy!) It was an unusually hot day in May and we were all masked up :( ! But they got it in and all hooked up and made sure it was running with no leaks before cleaning up the debris and leaving. They were very patient. I will choose them every time over big box stores!

Can’t wait to receive my new washer- something you just can’t go without! I am happy I chose Wickford Appliances! They were very knowledgeable about the washer I chose and not to mention friendly! Walked in needing a washer (mine just broke mid cycle) left 10 minutes later with a washer. Everyone was helpful, informative, and patient. They really went out of their way to make sure we left same day with a washer! Highly recommend getting any of your appliances here!! Affordable and easy!!

Four years ago, we purchased all of our new kitchen appliances for our new home from Wickford appliance and couldn’t have been happier. They were able to beat pricing from the big box stores then and I did it again for us this time when we came in for a new washer and dryer. The service we received after the purchase as a couple of times we’ve had to call out for service on our microwave or refrigerator and they have been super helpful so we were definitely hoping to purchase the washer and dryer from them this time and they came through.

As our sales representative Richard was very professional and patient with our many questions and requests. Like Richard, your delivery team was polite, professional and on schedule in their delivery.

I made my selection online and then talk to a sales rep in the store! It couldn’t have been easier! Amy was so helpful! This was the best appliance shopping experience I have ever had. I will definitely be back.

The salesman Matt at the Cranston location was extremely helpful. He printed out the specs for each dishwasher which helped with making our decision. Their prices match the big box stores but, they stand behind their appliances. Their communication for the delivery was fantastic and their installer is the best! Highly recommend Wickford Appliance.

The salesman Rich was knowledgeable about the appliance I was purchasing. The installation went smoothly and the installers were professional and explained what they were doing and made sure the appliance was working before leaving. I've purchased several appliances from Wickford Appliance and if I need future appliances I will be going to Wickford Appliance.

I always knew this was the go-to place for appliances, but when it came time to buy a new washing machine, I was afraid they wouldn’t have anything in my price range. It turns out that they are as competitive as any other store. But their customer service is way over the top. Salesperson Katie F was super accommodating and helpful and the delivery team was fantastic.

Amy was super helpful! She answered my unending barrage of questions as I tried to figure out the right dishwasher model to fit our price range. Great experience so far. The dishwasher hasn't been installed yet, but so far so good.

EDIT: I forgot to update this regarding delivery/installation! The first technician who came to install the dishwasher said he couldn't do it because we needed an extended hose, so he put the new dishwasher in my garage and left. It was a bummer, but what can you do? Within a couple of hours I got a call to reschedule the installation. I forget the specifics now, but I think we only had to wait 2 or 3 more days — which if you've ever tried to schedule installation for something before you'll know that's insanely fast. It was obvious they gave priority to resolving the problem. They told me they were going to send one of their best installers, and based on how quickly he got us squared away I'm confident they did. The best part is he didn't even need that extended hose!

It's easy to give a company 5 stars when everything goes right. Wickford Appliance deserves 5 stars because they took responsibility when something went wrong—and MADE it right. When it comes to buying a new appliance, I would never want anything less. I'm super happy, and won't be shopping for appliances anywhere else.

Matt reached out quickly and provided us a lot of options based on what we provided. He helped us find rebates and put together the best package for our needs.

Amy was very helpful answering our questions and helping us with adding/removing things to our quote. She also was clear and transparent about the price matches and helped us get the best deal possible.

They have been extremely accommodating and flexible with our delivery needs (needing a date that's a little further out). We haven't received our appliances yet (it's on us, not them!), so the review will be finalized once they're in.

So far, the service can't be beat. You won't find support, accomodations, and help like this from a big box store!

I knew which dishwasher we wanted it and called for a quote. Amy was very helpful and made it easy to complete my order over the phone & schedule delivery.

My fridge died so I called to check what they had in stock and that could be delivered as quick as possible. Matthew was excellent on the phone checking for items and making recommendations according to what I asked and the measurements I provided. He was not at the store when I went later that day but Amy took care of me and showed me some of the models or similar. It took some time but she was very patient and understanding. Needed a refrigerator fast. Selection was great. Quote process was very fast and delivery scheduled in minutes. Matt knew his stuff and took care of everything from start to finish. Never again big box store.

I recently had an another excellent experience at Wickford Appliance in Cranston purchasing a new stove (previously purchased a washer & dryer). Wickford Appliance has an extensive selection of high quality appliances. My sales consultant (Matthew) was great! He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. He answered all my questions and took the time to help me select exactly the right appliance for my needs without any pressure. Very highly recommend!

We had a great experience today at the Cranston Wickford store. Don was very helpful & patiemt with us as we decided the right fridge and microwave combination for our kitchen. Will definitely be coming back for more appliances in the future!

Ordered a GE washer and dryer which was to be delivered today. One side of the washing machine was completely smashed in so it had to be returned to the store. Apparently someone did it with the forklift. They then went to install the dryer - they turned it on and it blew up. So we got nothing. Supposedly 2 new appliances will be reordered, but we may just cancel the order altogether. So far not happy with wickford appliance. Yelp reviews are not good either. I should have checked reviews before buying. I purposely didn’t want to buy from Lowe’s or Home Depot because I wanted to support a local business. I think we made a mistake unfortunately…

The sales people at the store I went to was Extremely helpful And pleasant to deal with. Not really happy. I picked up my new washer. Qent home hooked the water lines up and was ready to use it and started leaking water from the water housing that the cold and hot water hook up too waited a week to get and was excited to use to be disappointed 😞 ugh.

My sales person Rich was very helpful. Beforehand he got me all the dimensions I needed and assisted me to find the right freezer for my needs.

My washer broke down and they said it'll be two and a half weeks before they could get someone out to look at it 😕 I am sorry but that is absolutely ridiculous!! I can't even begin to say how many appliances my family has bought from this place! So I ended up calling an independent person and they came and fixed it within 24 hours! Hate to say but probably be going back to Lowe's when I need a new washer dryer etc
