Tyler at Poirier Service is one of the best technicians whom I have ever had service my appliances. He is extremely knowledgeable and is able to explain the operations of the washing machine in layman's terms. He is very friendly, nice, and professional.

Alicia in the service department helped me book an appointment to fix our ice maker. She was extremely friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. The technician called before arriving within the appointment slot, and explained the cause and what he did to remedy the situation. Would absolutely use them again. Thank you so much!

We needed to get a refrigerator real fast due the old one breaking down. We found Poirier’s had a great selection and amazing prices. We had such a great experience selecting the top rated large side by side Whirlpool Stainless refrigerator that we could afford to a buy a matching Whirlpool Dishwasher. Not sure what is better, storing an amazing amount of food in this Side by Side Whirlpool or the way the kitchen looks with the beautiful appliances. Just go to Poirier’s and enjoy your kitchen. I buy all my appliances from Poirier because of their service. My oven had an igniter issue, and Eddie came out and fixed everything right away. He was reliable, communicated well, and totally professional. I highly recommend poirier appliances.

Service is terrible. We purchased their extended service contract. We have been without a dishwasher for almost a month and a half now and will have to wait for another two weeks even though they have the parts to fix it. Per their statement they don’t have any techs. When they came to initially diagnose it after waiting for two weeks, the tech fixed it temporarily and this fix also stopped working after a week. The service rep was also snotty when I questioned why we have to wait so long, basically insinuating that they have more priority appliances to fix like refrigerators. So basically we have a non functioning dishwasher that’s been holding stagnant water that is growing in stench.

First purchase was seamless. Last purchase was a disaster. Will not be going back to this merchant.

After experiencing issues with a delivery from a big box store, I contacted Poirier for a refrigerator purchase. Everyone that I talked to from sales to the delivery team were polite, friendly, and focused on making sure that my delivery went smoothly. The delivery was well executed, and my old fridge was removed without issue. I highly recommend Poirier for your next appliance purchase and will be a returning customer.

We had an issue with a several years old Bosch dishwasher that intermittently cycled without water. Several online posts suggested a failure with the water filler valve. Scheduled service with Poirier and Don the service tech spent a a significant amount of time investigating the problem and after he contacted Bosch they said it was a controller board that failed. Don ordered the board and installed it a few days later. Perfect. Don was terrific. Very thorough in delving into the problem and testing. Thanks Don and Poirier. The service was terrific.

My experience at Poirier was nothing short of how I was hoping. The salesman was friendly and very informative, made me feel very comfortable. Delivery was also excellent. The two men were very polite and professional. Handled installation and removing the used appliance quickly and professionally. Will absolutely make me shop at Poirier again.

These are all of the things that went wrong with my service appointment: I mixed up the scheduled time, my phone was accidentally silenced...I missed the call, and the area I shoveled in anticipation of the service call was taken. These are the things that went right: the technician saw my car out front, gave me the benefit of the doubt and knocked on my door, created his own spot out front on the side of the road, and most importantly wore "booties" into my house. :-) There is no greater accolade that I can give Poirier Sales & Service than one of pure professionalism. In times of stress on the customer (I have been there!), I realize that it is doubled on their end. The products they sell are supported, the customer service reps are handling many calls a day, and the technicians are overly qualified. I am not naming the technician who came to my home because I will never be able to get an appointment with him again if I do; he knows who he is. Thank you!

We purchased a stove, fridge and dishwasher from Poirier Sales & Service in Norwood. Couldn't be happier with the service from start to finish. Jackie was honest and helpful in directing us to the appliances that fit our needs. Delivery went without a hitch; right on time and quickly. Overall great customer service.

I purchased an Electrolux washing machine from Poirer Sales in June of this year. Having read many good reviews about Electrolux online and taking the sales representatives advice I decided to buy it. Ever since day one it is basically rendered useless. Every time I wash clothes multiple garments get stuck between the door and the drum for a couple of rotations before finally freeing and then getting caught again. I purchased an extended warranty through Poired and had a tech come by to look at it. He saw what it was doing and was not able to find anything wrong with the door or the drum. He then called Electrolux, whom suggested raising the front feet higher than the back which did not work. I have since called Poirer on multiple occasions & emailed them as well to no avail. I have purchased other appliances from them in previous years but never run into an issue this bad, in which they refused to resolve the issue. As a result, I’m now left looking for a new washing machine, but have lost confidence in Poirer and will be looking elsewhere, as I’m extremely unsatisfied that they are unwilling to help.

Bought a grill online, and took advantage of their free assembly and delivery offer. I interacted with the helpful sales person via chat. Experience was great, and they arranged a convenient delivery. They called the day before to let me know the delivery time. Delivery guys were right on time, friendly and professional. Glad I purchased from a local store instead of Amazon or big-box hardware. I'll be sure to look to Poirier for future appliance needs.

Bought an air conditioner from Poirier Sales, picked it up and brought it home, after opening saw damage so I contacted the store and spoke with sales manager Jackie who ordered me another one on the spot for an instant exchange! These days there are no more places where one can get more friendly professional caring people than Poirier Sales! Customer for life!

Poirier is now my absolute go to for all our large appliances. They will match any big box store price, then they will give you something you NEVER get at a big box store — great service! And follow up service is the key to happiness when buying a large appliance. The Poirier technicians are smart, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable and through. Knowing they are there for me is huge — I will never buy a large appliance anywhere else again!

Buying appliances, good experience, 4.5+. Delivery, 3 (floor got scratched with refrigerator delivery; delivery cancelled twice without notice). Service very good/helpful both occasions, 5. Parts, 4 (no calls as promised, had to followup with them).

Eddie was fantastic. He fixed a poor shower drain that now works great and installed a broken part in our dishwasher. He was easy to talk to and incredibly efficient. Thank you!

Recently purchased a cooktop from Poirier's. I worked with Joelene, who took the time to think through the many angles to consider when replacing our electric cooktop with a gas one. She was responsive, professional and patient over the phone. We got a great price, and they recommended an excellent local installer. I have long shopped at the big box stores for many things, but I will be back for further appliances with Poiriers for sure. Its really hard to find this level of customer services these days in retail. Highly recommend.

I purchased my refrigerator through Poirier and it was a great experience! I was having trouble finding the perfect fit for my small space and the sales associate did all the work for me. They found the perfect fit fridge, delivered, and installed. Based on the great service I received, I will be purchasing all my appliances though Poirier! Thank you all again!!

Poirier is great!! They have great knowledge and expertise in any appliance you may need for your house. We have gotten a new Washer & Dryer, a new Deep Freezer and now a new Microwave from them, and could not be any HAPPIER with all of them! Delivery was very timely.

Tyler is a genius. He showed up to replace a gasket on our freezer, and while doing that he checked/fixed/updated a half-dozen other things. Super-friendly and really, really good at his job.

We have purchased several appliances from Poirier. Recently had an issue with our dryer that I thought would require buying a new unit. I stopped by the showroom in Norwood and spoke with the sales rep. After explaining the issue, he suggested that I speak with Tony in their parts department as it may be an easy fix. Tony was great, he told me what the issue likely was and showed me diagrams of where the part is inside the dryer. I was prepared to buy a new dryer but $37 in parts + 30 min of my time and everything is working fine. I honestly cannot name another business who would help their customers that way, which is why we will be customers for life.

We went out of convenience as it is close to home. Showroom selection was limited. Staff was nice. We picked the same product as we had (newer model). That part was our fault. After delivery the product was damaged and that is where the problem starts. They wouldn't refund our money we had to do an exchange. We decided to get the same product just a new one. They insisted they repair it. A stove 1 week old being repaired? (new door and new cook top) It took much to long to get it resolved with me doing all the leg work. If I did it over again I would have shopped around.

We had an easy washer dryer delivery by two very capable and friendly men. Ishmael and his delivery partner were both super helpful and were also nice to chat with; big thanks to both of them! (My rescue puppy who is afraid of everyone liked them too!)

They're ok but DON'T buy their separate repair service coverage for your appliances because there is always a one month wait for a service tech to come to your home. It really defeats the purpose. Had I known, I wouldn't have shelled out the extra $400 on top of the cost of my new washer.

We've bought multiple appliances here. Excellent customer service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The parts department has saved us at least twice over the years with critical replacement parts for an older fridge. Their pricing is very competitive. Skip the big box stores and come here instead.

Exceptional! We had Don come out to fix our oven and he was conscientious of and adherent to COVID guidelines, keeping mask on at all times. He was extremely knowledgable and was able to quickly resolve our issue. The price was also very reasonable for the service received. He was very courteous and professional and we will definitely be using Poirier again.

Tyler came out to inspect our fridge, and he was so helpful! We had another technician come out from a different company, and they had told us that we needed to defrost the whole fridge. Tyler said that wasn't necessary, and he steamed our whole freezer, and got rid of all the unnecessary ice.He was thorough, organized, and explained everything perfectly. He was great!

I had a great purchasing and delivery experience, but real issue is with service. My oven keeps tripping my breaker and the gentleman that came to take a look basically tried to tell me my brand new electrical isn't done correctly or well (not the case as it passed the towns inspection with a comment on how well done it was). He also let me know that there was really nothing he could do if once he replaced the relay board and the fan were replaced. I called again to set up an appointment again because the display screen on the range microwave stopped working. The woman I spoke to was very rude. I understand I was frustrated as I haven't had an oven in almost 2 months and now the microwave is acting up, but she is in service you are going to get frustrated people. Its your job to defuse the situation not have an attitude when the customer is upset because you are booking so far out! You try being unable to cook for 2 months and then tell me you are not frustrated. My advice...loose the attitudes and telling customers there is nothing you can do to fix their appliances.

The young lady who waited on me was extremely helpful in helping me choose a new refrigerator. The two delivery men were professional and genuinely nice guys. I called the store later in the day to give them a two thumbs up. Will certainly consider Poirier for a future purchase.

Purchased a refrigerator from another vendor. It wouldn't fit thru the door. Delivery crew/installers didn't even take it out of the box! We went to Poirier Norwood, explained the measurement problem and in 15 minutes the sales lady had found the right size, color, and brand on her computer . Guaranteed us that the delivery crew would take the doors off.."they do it all the time " Delivery went perfectly. Lesson learned here..stick with the professionals. Peter B

Just had an awesome experience with Eddie the technician from Poirier, not only did he help solve the problem but gave some tips on cleaning my oven and washer, very personable, overall exceptional experience.

No pressure to purchase. The sales woman was very helpful she explained everything about the equipment. She set a delivery day & time. The delivery / installers were on time polite, very knowledgeable, ran a demo of the new install. They removed the old equipment & cleaned up.

The other day, I purchased a GE over-the-stove microwave oven model jvm316orfss at Poirier to replace my older GE JMV1540SM5ss.

Last evening the installer installed the new microwave. When he left, I went to use it but quickly saw that the control pad wasn't visible. The numbers and words are in 'silver' sitting behind a black panel. Only with a flashlight was it possible to read the panel. This morning, in the full light of day, the readability is not much better.

Called Poirier to take back the unusable product. I was told by John that I would have to pay a 30% 'restocking' fee and pay another $150 installation fee. That is not acceptable! The product is not usable. I was told that he can see the control panel in the store. John, I don't have sales room lighting in my kitchen. I had the earlier GE model and never had a problem.

My GE stove that sits right under the microwave is perfectly visible unlike this microwave.

The product is defective and unusable. I paid $229. + tax + installation of $150. They want to charge me 30% restocking fee plus I would have to pay an additional $150 installation. Of course, I eat the tax, right? Really? Buy an appliance from Poirier???

Poirier appliance is top notch in the appliance business , Jason was absolutely the best very knowledgeable and handled everything from start to finish. We had a new home built, with all new appliances. Everything arrived on time and correct, jason made sure we had all the proper specson appliances so everything fit. Visited with my mother in law for Massachusetts sales tax holiday. They have taken every practical precaution for Covid-19. Highly organized, gloves and masks available.

Staff incredibly helpful (a little thing, but made a difference; a person came by and asked if we were being helped, explained she was admin and would get someone. That's how to deal with a customer, so many businesses don't know how to do that). We dealt with Michael Poirier -patient, listened to my mother in law, answered all questions willingly.

First class, can't recommend highly enough.

I bought my washer and dryer several years ago and have been happy with my choices. My dryer was not heating up and I called for service. A woman answered and suggested I check with the vent to make sure the lint was clear. She said why pay for a service call if that is the problem. Unknown to me, my son-in-law put a beach chair against the vent. The chair was moved and problem was solved. I don't know too many places that would help a customer save money. That's why if I need any appliances or service there is only one place to go. Poirie. THANK YOU!

We purchased a Pro Harmony Professional 30" Natural Gas Range from Poirier. From the start the oven never worked properly taking 25 minutes to heat up to the desired temperature. The stove completely stopped working on Thanksgiving, which meant we could not cook Thanksgiving dinner. Poirier finally sent a service person on January 23rd. We told them the stove was a lemon and requested a new stove. Instead they replaced the mother board, fans and more, the stove continued to work poorly (25 minutes to heat to the desired temperature).

The stove just broke again. I have made three calls to Poirier Appliances in Norwood and I have no resolution. In addition, I have waited on hold with Thermador for an hour. I SUGGEST NOT SHOPPING FOR APPLIANCES AT POIRIER AND NOT purchasing a THERMADOR APPLIANCE.

I do not recommend that you pay the extra $400 for the service contact. It always takes a month or so just to get a pair of techs in your home for washing machine repair.

My pleasure to offer 5 stars! I was 1st referred to Poirier from my brother who spoke very highly of them. My salesman is Jimmy ‘jr’ is an awesome point of contact. I’ve had several appliances to buy for several high end kitchens and Jimmy was right on top of every detail. So thorough in fact, that he called from home on a day that he was (truly! ) Out sick with a terrible flu ( I could hear it in his voice!) BUT he is so dedicated to incredible personalized service in the awesome old fashioned way (apparently learned from his youngest days as a knee high youth next to his father / Jimmy ‘sr’) That he had to be personally sure of a few details. I’d give 10 stars if I could, but that might crash the app!

* I would add as a note, that , prior to discovering Poirer, I had purchased several appliances from the new Best Buy specialty boutique thinking it was a good idea - but it was a nightmare.

Purchasing appliances is a big expense. The knowledgeable staff at Poirier helped us choose the right appliance and feel comfortable with our purchase. We shopped around and got the best deal at Poirier.

I have dealt with all the appliance dealers in the area and Poirier blows them all away in every category . Even the delivery and installation men were very knowledgeable and polite. I'm very happy I have found a dealer I can trust.

Great selection. Salesperson knew every feature of every model in the showroom. Delivery and install were smooth as well. Do your research online but buy here. They stand behind their products and prices are fair.
