Rob sold me and has serviced my 2 vacuums for my businesses for the past 20 years. He's professional, responsive, timely, fairly priced and always a pleasure to deal with. He even fixed a Dyson I had a problem with. You won't find better customer service or vacuum knowledge in the area.

My wife and I use Aerus Electrolux for all of vacuum servicing and repairs. Thanks to Rob our vacuum is always in tip top shape. Rob is very knowledgeable and attentive to details. The motor on our 19 year old Aerus Electrolux central vacuum stopped working on a Sunday in the middle of an open house - as it was being shown to prospective buyers. Called Aerus Electrolux the next day, Rob answered the phone. When I explained the issue he offered to come out that day to fix it! We couldn't accept, as there were showings, but he came on Tuesday. Turns out he was the one who sold us the system all those years ago. He replaced the motor on the spot, giving us a warranty that will transfer to the new owners. As a bonus we had a nice chat while he was here. Truly I can't recommend Rob & Aerus Electrolux highly enough!

Just purchased my new vacuum cleaner! I'm glad i came across this place because I'm tired of buying raggedy dyson's that don't work. I was referred by a close friend who had their vacuum for the last 12 years and they love it so it was so easy for me to make my purchase.

I recently had to replace a 34 year old central vac system and was not sure who to call. My brother and a friend highly recommended Aerus Electrolux in Hamden. I spoke to Rob, the owner, and was impressed with his level of professionalism and knowledge. Rob came to install the new Electrolux within one day after hours when he closed the store. He was punctual, friendly, and a gentleman. After installing the unit, he checked to make sure all the outlets worked properly, explained how to maintain the unit, and even carried the old unit to the curb for my trash pickup the next day. I was impressed by his attention to detail and, above all, his genuineness and kindness. Rob is a man of his word and as honest as they come. I will never look anywhere else for my vacuum needs. Excellent experience! Found the classic lux legacy upgrade from my Epic 6500SR which has been owned from the early 90’s, Rob was extremely helpful, and professional and appreciated his help, he was even nice enough to give me off the $300 trade in that I didn’t even do, but I’ll be bringing him my old machine can’t just throw it away, it can be refurbished to good use.

I have been having my Electrolux serviced by Rob Ardito for over 25 years. Rob has provided excellent repair service for my Electrolux. In an era of appliances that break down and must be discarded, Rob repairs my vacuum and expertly replaces any outdated part enabling my vacuum to last over 15 years and counting!! After ordering online what I thought was the correct part to fix our central vac, I was notified by the vendor it was no longer available. They suggested I contact Aerus. I spoke with Rob the same day. Not only did he correctly diagnose the problem over the phone (completely different from what I thought), he agreed to have me drop off my unit the next business day, despite the fact his store was closed because of covid-19. I left my unit outside the door, waited in my car, and had it returned to me within 20 minutes. Took it home, hooked it up, and it works perfectly. Many thanks to Rob for great customer service.

Highly recommend!!! We brought in our upright Oreck expecting to have to leave it, 10 minutes later it was fully repaired. The following week I brought in our 35+ yr Rainbow and not only was it fixed but completely improved!! Rob is the person you want to see for any kind of repairs and has a nice selection of newer models, friendly, professional and a local small business too!!!!

I would like to give the highest possible recommendation to the Avery’s Electrolux store in Hamden on Dixwell Avenue. I purchased an Aerux Electrolux vacuum from this shop many years ago and I have been extremely happy with the vacuum and the service offered since then. I have found the Aerus Electrolux to be a comprehensive and reliable vacuum cleaner with multiple uses for my house and car. The owner of the shop, Mr. Ardito, is extremely helpful and goes out his way to give his customers the best and most cost effective advice and guidance on his vacuums. This is an honest, efficient family run store and I would strongly advise anyone looking for a reliable, versatile vacuum to make a stop there first and look into his products. It’s nice to know that there are shops who still offer this kind of helpful and efficient service with the customers interests at heart.

I just walked into Aerus with a broken OLD vacuum I didn't know what to do with it Rob was extremely helpful without even knowing me. Every store in this world should have customer service like I received from him. I won't go anywhere else I was dealing with another store and received no customer service at all. Electrolux/Aerus vacuums are the only ones I own and use. Aerus/Electrolux in Hamden is a great store for buying and repairing Electrolux and Aerus vacuums. Rob Ardito did a great job repairing my 1960's Electrolux vacuum and had the new replacement hose available for my 1970's model when I needed it. I traded in a 1990's era Electrolux for a new Lux Classic and am very happy with my purchase. Rob is very knowledgeable and helpful.
