Miele Experience Center Manhattan

My Miele convection/microwave oven outer glass exploded while the unit was not in use. There was glass everywhere, up to 12 feet away. I contacted Miele right away, to my surprise, this was not a concern for them. They told me to request a service call for $150 transportation and an additional $150 for the first hour, and $150 for each additional hour. Parts was extra. Total disregard to safety and no real explanation of why something like this would occur.

I have visited the Miele Experience Center several times over the last few months following the purchase of some Miele appliances. Both Connie Wong and Keith Jaroslawski are always tremendously helpful and attentive. My concerns are always addressed professionally and expeditiously. I highly recommend the Miele Experience Center, as well as Connie and Keith, who always provide a superior level of customer service.

Fabulous experience! I worked with both a senior salesperson and a more junior person to purchase a counter-top coffee machine. Even though this was a small purchase by Miele's standards, you would think I was fitting out an entirely new kitchen. I received so much personal service -- from training on how to use the new machine to a break on the price because I ended up buying the store display. And when it came time to delivering the unit, the staff was more than willing to load it into my career. I would recommend the Miele sales team in New York to anyone. Although I have written this on Miele Princeton, repeating it here again:

We have a Miele high quality dishwasher and since now 4 weeks it is not working. We made a service appointment and I told them clearly the error messages displayed, which regards the circulation pump. But when the technician came, he didn´t have the pump with him saying "it was not noted in the service order" and I have to set up a new service appointment the pump would cost $ 535.00. At the end I had to pay $ 199.00 for nothing! Since it is a high brand machine, we decided to repair it instead of buying another brand dishwasher (Miele has no dishwashers in stock). I made a new service appointment and this time it was noted in the service order, that a vacuum pump is to be installed. On the day of the service (05/17/22) I was called in the morning and told, that although the technician is on the way, but he does not have the pump with him, since he just checked the service order. This is incredible and shows very poor organisation - which probably would not have happened in Germany.

I asked for a new service date and to my utmost surprise, I was told that the pump is not in stock and has to be shipped from overseas and would not arrive here before 05/27 and the first installation date free is the June 1. If Miele would have told us by the first service appointment 4 weeks ago, the could have ordered and by now it would have been installed.

It is unbelievable that such a reputed international company has apparently no coordination at all and give their customer wrong information. Apparently they are too proud to care about customer satisfaction.

We have now decided to get a new different brand of dishwasher. For us Miele is out and we will exchange all our other Miele products with the time.

I want to give a shout out to Keith Jaroslawski, an Associate at Miele's Manhattan Customer Experience Center. We had done some research on Miele's website and had a rough idea of which appliances we wanted for a kitchen remodel. Keith knew all the details about model differences and was able to walk us through our choices. He was very professional and very patient with our questions. It was a very good experience, and I highly commend Keith.

Their repair service is super bad. You will be charged for $300 and you will only get an answer “sorry we cannot fix it”. Then I got a guy from third party company and he quickly fixed the issue with reasonable price. Miele sells expensive appliances without knowing how to fix them. DO NOT BUY.

As an architect renovating my own apartment, Miele was of course my first choice from my professional experience. With Covid-related global supply chain issues, nothing comes easily these days. But Michael had been very knowledgeable and helpful since day 1.

More recently, Keith patiently helped us work through the last of the delivery issue with the delivery company. His level of assistance is professional and much appreciated! And of course, Miele is just the best in the industry for value, performance and aesthetic.

Dealing with this brand has been the worst nightmare in terms of any sort of customer service I have ever experienced. Our new construction condominium bought all Miele appliances. Once we moved in, it became obvious that our stove did not work properly. We had technicians come from Miele four times in which they simply could not repair it, and finally agreed to replace the stove, three months ago. It has now been 6 months in our condominium without a working stove, and calling once a week to every two weeks has resulted in simply being stonewalled by their “customer service” and being told Quality Assurance will call me within 72 hours, which has never happened. This same process is continuing even with filing a complaint through the Better Business Bureau, with Miele saying they will deal with me directly and never getting back to me. This company is not worth your time or money.

My husband and I visited the Experience Center last week to consult about replacing our dated Miele appliances. Keith was beyond helpful, not only providing counsel on the range of options available, but what we should consider as well. Not clear why there are so many bad ratings here; this was not our experience at all.

Horrible experience with their washer and dryer. The delivery company didn't show up the first time they scheduled and never called. The second time they improperly installed the drainage hose so it leaked out onto the floor. Thankfully I was home or it would have damaged the floors. Also have had major problems with soap drawer and the dryer door. Due I think to the installation. I would avoid Miele and this showroom at all costs.

These 5 stars are for Keith Jaroslawski only, not for Miele. Service from Miele leaves much to be desired. In fact it was shocking how bad it was! One does not expect that from a supposedly premium brand. As far as I’m concerned, the only saving grace was Keith, at the New York showroom, whom I finally contacted in frustration. He immediately understood my issue and solved my problem.

This is a wonderful way to experience the products and get a better understanding on how to use everything. The staff was very helpful and informative.

Great place to understand the differences and features of the various lines across the Miele products

Connie was amazing. She took her time to explain me all the difference in the models and appliances. I highly recommend you come to the showroom for an amazing experience and there’s cookies here too!!

I received top notch customer service upon entering the showroom this past summer from Keith Jaroslawski. What an amazing human! He is well informed on the particular products I inquired about, is friendly, and goes above and beyond to ensure quality service. He has made choosing a new washer and dryer a seamless experience. This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They delivered a replacement grinder for a coffee maker that was broken. They told us we had no proof that it arrived broken (we called the day it arrived) and told us to take up our issue with UPS. What a joke. Avoid at all costs.

The “experience” was terrible. First the phone was never answered yet they are appointment only. Then we tried their web site to schedule an appointment only to be asked to continue to call. After we finally got there Michael met us. It feels like he didn’t even care. He didn’t want to talk to us and the whole conversation was we asked each question and he answered with a few words. He didn’t even want to show us around to see their products. When we left he said he would send email about a few models that would work for us but he never did. Even worse he gave us price information that is way off about their own products. Michael should be fired for doing such a poor job.

Keith J. is awesome! He's super helpful and patient with any product questions or concerns. I highly recommend stopping in to the Miele Experience Center.

Products are good. Online customer service is a joke.
