I would highly recommend Barons they are great to deal with. The salesman was great (Larry Naselroad) and Jenny was awesome communicating the delivery from when the truck leaves and gets to the house to make the delivery very punctual and professional.

Bought a GE Induction Stove from Baron's and could not be happier with our experience. Herb, our salesman was extremely knowledgeable and helped us pick the best fit for our situation. I appreciated that he was kind, down to earth and was not pushy. Deliver was easy and the folks were professional and quick. Excited to have found a business that is family run and provides quality work in our community. We will definitely be repeat customers!

I was shopping for a microwave oven and visited 2 of the big box stores first. Neither had any in stock for the brand I wanted. Went to Baron’s in Salem NH and got what we were looking for with the price that the big boxes had. Also the item was in stock! Larry the sales person was great to work with

I wanted to take a moment to thank Travis again for treating us with respect and a determination to resolve our 4 month ordeal. We may have had bad luck with a purchase in May , but Barons had very good luck with the hire of Travis .The staff @ Barons was always warm and friendly and knowledgeable However, with the help of Rob , district manager, Travis took control and we all came to a just and favorable solution. Love our new GE refrigerator. Herb at Baron's was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. The refrigerator arrived during the time frame as promised. I liked that you could track the delivery. The delivery men were very efficient and did a great job. Highly recommend Baron's for all your appliances.

10/28/25 Update:

I received a call from the district manager and the Salem NH Store Manager, and I am changing my review from a 1 to a 5. Not only did they both call me the day of my original post, but they also provided me with a replacement microwave that I picked up today. Travis is very professional, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service that I have always experienced at Baron's.

Long time customer until recently. Purchased an entire kitchen appliance set back in 8/23. At the time I purchased a 5 year extended warranty that I thought was for ALL of the appliances. The microwave just died. I called and found out that the extended warranty applied to the range, dishwasher and refrigerator but not the microwave. Why would I do that!? I Spoke with my salesperson (LN) and was told that some people don't purchase extended warranties for microwaves. I said that makes no sense to me and I never said that. His response was that he doesn't recall the conversation as it was long ago. Well, I hope he and Baron's remember this conversation...I will never do business with them again!

Very happy with purchase of washer. Salesman, Herb was knowledgeable and helpful. Gregory and Claudio (JB1?) did great install. They were on time and respectful to home.

My new Bosch refrigerator is fabulous and the staff at Baron’s makes sure your purchase goes smoothly. Shout out for exceptional customer service goes to Brenden and Dan, who facilitated a swap when I decided to upgrade my initial selection to this higher end appliance. The delivery team was extremely careful to get it into my home through a narrow doorway without scratching it or touching any walls. Five star experience with the Salem, NH store and its staff!

Amazing experience all around!! I needed a new refrigerator overnight due to guests arriving. Larry found me the perfect replacement that matched the space beautifully over the phone and it was delivered in 24 hours!! I cannot say enough about the level of service provided!! Awesome work!!

Buying the GE Refrig and Microwave was absolutley perfect starting with Ben our salesman to constant information on delivery time, the two delivery men and the plumber. Not enough praises and thanks.

I had been shopping for a new washer and dryer for quite some time. I finally went to Baron's, where I had the pleasure of working with Mike Loiselle. He was incredibly helpful—informative, patient, and supportive throughout the entire process. From the first interaction with Mike to the purchase and delivery, everything was seamless. Even the delivery team was great—prompt, polite, and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mike and Baron’s to my friends and family—and I’ll definitely go back when I need to purchase other appliances in the future!

From the moment I called Baron’s and spoke to Larry to having Paul deliver and install our new microwave, it was a seamless process. Paul was on time, friendly and very efficient.

I chose Barons appliance in Salem NH because I thought I would get more personalized service vs. HD or Lowe’s but I did not. I ordered a new GE stove, (GE profile) with hood and a refrigerator. The stove doesn’t turn on, it was delivered weeks ago and I have yet to be able to use it. The hood was never installed because it was dented and I have to wait weeks for another. Go to HD/Lowes or another appliance store, terrible customer service, will never use them again. Too bad for them I’m in need of several more pieces but will not be using them.

I found the Ben, the salesman extremely patient, accommodating and knowledgeable. The transaction was smooth. It was a pleasure dealing with Baron’s in Salem.

The salesman was herb, and he knew the product and was very helpful. I had an issue of my doing but he got things straightened out. Something customer service didn’t do! It was requested twice for a manager to contact me which NEVER happened! I believe they don’t exist OR after the sale, they don’t care ! Even the warehouse manager was emailed by the salesman and it took 5 hours before he answered him!

Everything went smooth on sale, Chris and his son did an excellent job on install. Could not be happier. Highly suggest you consider making your purchase there

I have always bought all my appliances from Barons. Great service knowledgeable sales personal. Prices are as great as box stores and they will match any price. Also financing is great. Best place to buy appliances.

Great experience right from the beginning. Salesman was so helpful and the two delivery men were great. Arrived on time and set up was quick and neat. I would highly recommend Baron's for all appliance purchases.

The delivery men were VERY good. First walked around to find the best route to take and when there was a complication, they stopped and removed whatever needed to be removed..I was super pleased with the delivery. Punctual and caring!!! Kudos to both of them. My frig looks great and once all hooked up, we are in back in business. Salesman knew all his stuff too! It’s a one stop shop. Thank you.

Our Sales guy Larry was excellent. What a great experience. I went to purchase a fridge and microwave oven, answered all my questions and was very thorough. I love purchasing from family owned stores versus the big box stores. Delivery was also awesome came prompt. Very helpful and asked if I had questions. Love love Barons. Please don't even think you are going somewhere else, because there is no one that treats you like Baron's!! You won't regret it!

Excellent delivery and installation. The technician took the time to explain the rationale of installing the stove appropriately for safety. I used Baron's for all my appliances for many years and always got the consistent and customer friendly service.🌟

I bought a full kitchen microwave dishwasher stove hood and refrigerator bought way in advance which they held for me that I thank you for when time came gave them plenty of time to install everything. They could deliver but not install we had to do ourselves mind you these are high end appliances. The refrigerator was the store model so I was promised a new face to the columns hey were delivery Dec 9 th 2024 I still am trying to get them to install the face of my frig / freezer the have two different handles. Still I call and text and nothing happens I am promised that it will get done but still no action I worked with Herb and he was great at selling me all of these appliances but not so great at delivering what he said he would going on 6 months To add to this review I is truly sad that it took this review to get them to do anything . To reply to the managers response . I had reserve all parts and they have been in my garage in boxes since late January so that was by no means the reason for this delay and also told there were no issues when I bought the products with them not servicing this area or limited service . We now have moved on when we bought these appliances I told them that we were building Three other homes for our children that we were going to go through them . We decided to go with another company and have had a wonderful experience. No lies no deception

My experience with Mike and the whole team and Baron’s was A+++. Excellent communication, fair pricing and actually show up when they say they are going to be there. It is a mystery to me why anyone would ever buy appliances through a big box store when you can have these experts take care of you - often for less! They were super helpful providing information to my Cabinet design team to make sure that everything worked together perfectly. The smoothest part of our home remodel process was working with Barons.

I had 2 deliveries today - Keith for my dishwasher and Johan for my washer and dryer. Both professional, both knowledgeable. Respected our property. The key to the great service started with Ben my sales agent. So professional, knowledgeable, and great to work with. I've always used Baron's for all my appliances and I've never been disappointed.

Tim in the Salem Nh was wonderful salesman. He is an asset to Barons. He assisted me in purchasing a new refrigerator and was professional and friendly. I needed a call back and he was fast to respond. Also Malvin who delivered refrigerator was professional and got the job done. Buying was quick and easy! The best price in comparison to Costco and THD. Also, removal and shipping was included. I'm happy with my purchase. To add, any maintenance is directly with Barron's and not a 3rd party.

We purchased a sub zero to replace our old sub zero, sales team said to stay with Sub Zero as it would be an easy replacement (slide out the old, slide in the new).

The installer came to the house prior to the delivery and informed us that you can't slide out the old and slide in the new, they are different. We had a very hard time finding a carpenter to build a new enclosure prior to delivery. We found one that could do it (they were hesitant and it ultimately didn't work).

The delivery team passed our house the day of the delivery and put the truck in reverse and drove backwards on a street full of kids to get back to our house. They went on to drop the refridge and tried to give me a discount for the damaged door. I declined as the fridge was $16K and who knows what other damage was done. They took the old fridge and when I called later in the day to get the old fridge back they said it had already been recycled.

The store offered to loan me a college size fridge while I waited the estimated one year for the replacement. We eventually were able to get a small, full size loaner to use while we waited.

The delivery team sustained injuries while moving the fridge as they used only a team of two to move this huge fridge.

My prior experience with Barron's was a microwave I bought that died after one year.

Safety and customer service get an F and D- in my book, selection is a C, sales team knowledge is a C-. I definitely would never return to this store. There are better stores out there will full service solutions (including enclosures). Lessons learned, back to my prior store. I tried to keep it more local with Barrons, but not a good move.

We like dealing with a local appliance dealer since they really stand behind their products. And this was our first experience with Barron’s, but was a very good one! They are chill pros, not high pressure, competent, have a good selection in the showroom and can pretty much get anything not there. Ben was our Sales Consultant and we would use him again in a second! Great experience

Walked into Baron’s to purchase a new washing machine. Herb was kind, friendly and very informative. He steered us to the right one for our needs. Didn’t try to upsell us and was very honest in the quality of our choice. Delivery was fast, professional and clean. Will always shop from them and not the big box stores.

Excellent customer service which included a beautiful showroom of interested product line (GE Cafe appliances), wonderful sales personnel (very knowledgeable, helpful, and very responsive to providing schedule dates, updates, and to answer any questions), amazing email and text messages received for date and times of delivery, and installers were all phenomenal. Great salesman, ease of purchase and delivery setup. From the time of purchase it took only 2 days with our new refrigerator up and running and we were back. In Business. Any future appliance needs we will be sure to start at Barons.

Mike is such a great representative for Baron’s and they’re lucky to have him on their sales team. Mike is friendly, responsive, and always has the customer front of mind. Our refrigerator went and we needed to replace it. I emailed Mike as he was super helpful when we needed a new dishwasher. He responded almost immediately and was quick to answer our questions. Baron’s is the only place I’ll go for appliances.

Our recent visit to the Baron's Salem location to purchase a washing machine was fantastic. The store was impeccably clean, the sales associate provided expert assistance, pricing was competitive, and delivery was prompt, safe, and efficient. We have purchased many appliances from Barons over the last 8 years and our sales guy Mike Loiselle has been exceptional to deal with for all of our transactions. He and his team of associates have always been professional and courteous and have made all of our purchases very easy and stress free. Highly recommend!

We ordered a refrigerator from Barons and it came defective. A fitting that was connected to a water pump was loose and it leaked water all over our floor. The cardboard back panel was also damaged when it arrived. After some haggling with our sales consultant, he finally conceded and sent a replacement a week later. The replacement refrigerator had the same faulty fittings so we refused to accept it at delivery. Our sales consultant was not helpful in helping us find a replacement for the defective refrigerator. In fact, he seemed more irritated with us, as if it was our fault they delivered two defective products. He offered no help with finding a comparable replacement. At one point, he became so irate, he actually stated that we should look at Home Depot or Best Buy, because we couldn’t get this kind of service with them. He was probably right, but not for the reason he was thinking. After doing some research on our own we finally found a suitable replacement and asked if it could be delivered on a specific date. They would not oblige, so once again, for the third time, we had to block out a day’s schedule for the delivery window. When this refrigerator came it was also damaged. One of the glass shelves was chipped. The delivery crew also scraped our front door and bent the storm door so it doesn’t latch tightly anymore. It’s been two weeks since we received the latest damaged refrigerator and our sales consultant doesn’t respond to emails or return our phone calls. After contacting the manufacturer directly, we were able to remedy the problem. Avoid Barons. Once they get your money they offer zero customer service.

Bought a new Electrolux Washer and LP Dryer in July 2019 through Baron's in Manchester because the salesman raved about them being great in second floor laundry. Electrolux guarantees satisfaction for 30 days or they'll replace. On or about day 45, my washer began to make a godawful noise when in the spin cycle. Load size or content didn't matter. Electrolux sent out repairperson whose eyes got big when he heard the sounds. However, he couldn't find anything wrong and WE WERE CHARGED FOR THE REPAIR VISIT. Baron's salesman was made aware of this. Electrolux refused to stand by their product. The dryer needed a new circuit board as it would only heat on one cycle. We suffered with these pieces of junk for the past year and today, Lowe's delivered my brand new Maytag washer and LP Dryer.

We also bought an entire kitchen of high end appliances. At no point in the selection and sale was it disclosed that I'd have to pay $600.00 additional to have my Subzero refrigerator installed. I found that out when I called Baron's about doing so.

Cannot recommend Baron's as a great place to shop for 30K worth of appliances. My experience at Lowe's went far better.

Extremely happy with the personalized service in sales and with the speedy delivery, the take away of the old appliance and installation of new replacement appliance. This is a top notch local appliance store and we have bought from them before and they have maintained consistent results over the years. I highly recommend that you try out Baron's and forego the big box brand stores. Once you do, you can't help but be a loyal customer afterwards!

Ben greeted us when we came in. Ben directed us to the GE stove we came to see. We purchased the stove, and Ben had our transaction completed within half an hour!

Awesome experience. Our salesperson Mike was very knowledgeable and took his time with us. We ended up purchasing a range hood, microwave drawer and a GE Proflie stove. He has been in contact with us throughout our kitchen remodel and has been working with our designer to coordinate appliance specs and delivery of our appliances. I would definitely purchase my future appliances from Baron’s.

All our appliances were delivered within 3 days and Baron's actually saved us almost $1,000 from Lowes. We originally ordered from Lowes a month in advance and the day of delivery they email me saying my order was going to be delayed another week! We are moving from FL back to NH and didn't have another week to wait so we canceled our order and my realtor gave me Baron's number. They came in clutch at the last minute and had all our stuff there within 72 hrs. Not to mention saving us almost $1000 as well. Thank you Baron's (and Larry the salesman) for saving the day! We will be buying all our appliances there from now on!

I had a great experience with Barons of Salem NH. I needed a microwave, I called them and had placed my order in 10 minutes.The day of delivery was great . K and Zach arrived early . Barrons wants you to come back as a customer, BB could care less.

Save yourself time and aggravation by avoiding the big box store and buy from Barrons.

The customer service we received when shopping for a refrigerator was great. Helpful advice and information but no sense of pushing for a sale. We purchased one, the delivery guys were great, and we are happy with the fridge. Then things went above and beyond: we noticed a scratch we hadn't previously noticed at time of delivery. No questions asked, they sent a new door, a guy came and installed it, and there was no charge. AMAZING customer service. Two weeks later, my elderly mother needed a new dryer. We immediately bought it from Baron's and will continue to be a loyal customer - they earned it.
